About

Different notations,
the same curiosity.

Statistics and code on my transcript — but math, music, language, and chess are all the same thing to me: systems.

I’m a Statistics & Computer Science student in UC Berkeley’s College of Computing, Data Science, and Society — happiest wherever a messy question can be turned into a model, a proof, or a program.

The short version of everything else: 900+ volunteer hours with kids with special needs, twelve years of monthly piano programs at senior-living communities, a USCF Candidate Master title, two years as Math Club president, the linguistics club I founded, and years as a symphony and pit orchestra pianist.

Full-time health-statistics research at USC’s Mann School — two summers and a school-year continuation.

Health Statistics Research Intern

with Prof. Boshen Jiao · USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences

Jun 2024 – Feb 2026 · 1 yr 9 mos · Full-time

  • Analyzed American Time Use Survey data to examine how elder caregiving reshapes caregivers’ time allocation
  • Quantified time forgone and time compromised using R, survey-weighted analyses, and generalized linear models
  • Co-authored a research abstract accepted for poster presentation at ISPOR 2026

Founding

Building Patchworks.

I’m CEO of Patchworks — a small team shipping tools we actually want to use.

Patchworks
CEO & co-founder

A small team building fitness tools we actually want to use ourselves — starting with the problem we kept hitting: knowing whether you’re training right, and whether you’ll actually show up tomorrow.

Exercise Calendar

What we’re building now — record a full session and it cuts and crops the moments that mattered into a short video summary, so each day’s log is something you can actually watch back.
